Hey Everyone, Vee here!
I'm very glad to get started on this long and exciting journey with you all! Me and my team (which as of now is myself, and my friend @starfruitgalaxy) have started work on Ultra 3rd Strike! Ultra 3rd Strike is going to be a from-the-ground-up PC remake of 3rd Strike, made in the Godot game engine. We plan to add several quality of life improvements in this remake; including, but not limited to:
High quality character portraits, music, and UI
A stage select and larger pool of stages
Combo Trials
A Proper Training Mode
a large selection of character color pallets (OG, Online Edition, and community submitted colors)
Gill as a playable character (not allowed in standard online play)
Customizable audio experience (Allowing the user to pick between OG 3rd Strike UI sounds, 2nd Impact Sounds, Classic or Online Edition OST, etc.)
And Much More!!!
Keep in mind that things such as the Modern UI will be implemented on an opt-in basis for the user, so if you just want the vanilla 3rd Strike experience you'll get it! This dev blog will give you all an exciting peek into our ongoing development as it happens, and allow us to receive criticism and feedback along the way!
